History of Architecture 4

Reviews the development of ecclesiastical architecture in Europe starting from the classical tradition, as it studies the Romanesque and Gothic styles up to the Renaissance that brought about a societal revolution that was reflected in the architectural installations. The course continues, starting from this point, by reviewing the new in thearchitectural functions and the differentiation in architectural thought between the dominant regions (Italy, Germany, France and Britain), up to the period of the Industrial Revolution, the starting point for the formation of architectural schools. Studying this course introduces the student to the basic elements of the Church and the development of the accompanying syntax.
