 An introduction to the history of cinema and TV. Work on the concept of differences in camera shots, and the techniques of acting for the camera in different types of shots (long, medium, wide, cowboy, High or Low-angle shots), and different lenses used (wide-angle, telephoto, or zoom), and lighting. Work also includes introduction to Montage. All theoretical knowledge is built into the course in a practical form.
