Principles of Radiology & Radiography

The course provides comprehensive knowledge about x-rays, physically and biologically, in terms of radiographic techniques and equipment inside and outside the mouth, and focuses on reading X-ray images from a diagnostic point of view to distinguish pathological changes supported by clinical applications and linking this with the patient's treatment plan. The course also provides necessary information about imaging techniques (panorama, cephalometric, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, and others) and their contribution to planning, accurate diagnosis, and practical practice of modern dentistry, in addition to radiotherapy and prevention.
