Admission Rules

 

New students are admitted to the University in the first and second semesters according to a differentiation conducted by the university according to the sequence of scores between the applicants in order to equal opportunities between them, provided that the student's rate is above the minimum admission rate specified in accordance with the decision of the Higher Education Council.

 

Required papers to apply:

  • Syrian Secondary School Certificate:
  1. A certified copy of the secondary school certificate.
  2. A copy of the personal ID (A4) with both sides on the same page.
  3. Photograph.
  4. A copy of the passport, if any.
  5. Draw a trade-off.
  • Non-Syrian Secondary School Certificate:
  1. A certified copy of the ninth certificate from the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  2. A certified copy of the tenth and eleventh grade courses certified by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  3. A certified copy of the secondary school certificate from the Syrian Foreign Ministry.
  4. A draw letter issued by the Ministry of Education in the exporting country.
  5. A copy of the personal ID (A4) with both sides on the same page.
  6. Photograph.
  7. Copy of passport.
  8. Draw a trade-off.
  • Transfer from another university (for non-graduate students):
  1. A certified copy of the secondary school certificate.
  2. Revealed duly certified marks.
  3. Duly certified university life.
  4. A statement of the study plan duly certified.
  5. Description of duly certified courses.
  6. A copy of the personal ID (A4) with both sides on the same page.
  7. Photograph.
  8. A copy of the passport, if any.
  9. Draw a trade-off.
  10. Draw equation decisions.
  • University / Institute Graduates:
  1. A certified copy of the secondary school certificate.
  2. Certified copy of the graduation document.
  3. Revealed duly certified marks.
  4. Duly certified university life.
  5. A statement of the study plan duly certified.
  6. Description of duly certified courses.
  7. A copy of the personal ID (A4) with both sides on the same page.
  8. Photograph.
  9. A copy of the passport, if any.
  10. Draw a trade-off.
  11. Draw equation decisions.
  • Students with martyrs:
  1. A martyrdom document addressed to Al-Manara University
  2. Citation document addressed to the Ministry of Higher Education
  3. Honor Card.
  4. Family statement.
  5. A certified copy of the secondary school certificate.
  6. A copy of the personal ID (A4) with both sides on the same page.
  7. Photograph.
  8. A copy of the passport, if any.
  • Students wounded by the Syrian Arab Army:
  1. Medical report from the Supreme Medical Council exclusively.
  2. The proof of disability from the Martyrs Office is addressed to Al-Manara University.
  3. The proof of disability from the Martyrs' Office is addressed to the Ministry of Higher Education.
  4. A certified copy of the secondary school certificate.
  5. A copy of the personal ID (A4) with both sides on the same page.
  6. Photograph.
  7. A copy of the passport, if any.
  • Secondary School issued by the Pakistani School in Damascus:
  1. A copy of the International Secondary Education Certificate (IGCSE) translated and duly certified by the Syrian Foreign Ministry in Damascus.
  2. A copy of the General Education Certificate (GCE) or (AS LEVEL) duly translated and certified by the Syrian Foreign Ministry in Damascus.
  3. A copy of the academic document of the ninth, tenth and eleventh grades translated and duly certified at the Syrian Foreign Ministry in Damascus.
  4. A copy of the personal ID (A4) with both sides on the same page.
  5. Photograph.
  6. A copy of the passport, if any.
