Scholarships & Discounts

 

The university provides the following full scholarships and discounts:

1. Discounts:

  • Academic Excellence Scholarships:
  1. The top student receives a 100% waiver of the following academic year's tuition fees provided that the accumulative average is not less than /3/ points.
  2. The student who gets the second place receives a 75% waiver of the following academic year's tuition fees provided that the accumulative average is not less than /75/ points.
  3. The student gets the third place receives a 50% waiver of the following academic year's tuition fees provided that the accumulative average is not less than /2.75/ points.
  4. Only the top student in the faculty of performing arts gets a 100% waiver of the annual tuition fees provided that the accumulative average is not less than 75% of the grades.
  5. The accumulative average is calculated on the basis of the first and second semesters.
  6. The student should be registered the maximum limit of the opened courses in each semester provided that the credit hours are not less than /16/ CH.
  7. The student should not be punished.
  8. In the case of equivalent accumulative averages, the credit hours are taken into account, and in case of equivalent accumulative averages and registered credit hours, the next decimal system is taken into account.
  • Sibling discounts:
  1. The first and second siblings registered receive a /20/% discount of the credit hours (12 credit hours per semester).
  2. The third sibling receives a /25/ % discount of the credit hours (12 credit hours per semester).

2. Full scholarships:

  • Ministry of Higher Education scholarships:

The university grants full scholarships according to the decree related to scholarships for the determined number of students by the ministry.

  • Martyrs' children and families:

The university provides scholarships for the children and families of martyrs for the regular study period with the minimum limit of the required years for each specialty in the undergraduate stage after studying their application and secondary schools average according to the regulations set by the board of trustees.

  • Scholarships for the wounded army soldiers and their children:

The university provides scholarships for the wounded soldiers and their children for the regular study period with the minimum limit of the required years for each specialty in the undergraduate stage after studying their application and secondary schools average according to the regulations set by the board of trustees and in collaboration with Syria Trust for Development programs (The Country's Wounded - Jarih Al-Watan).
