Scholarships

 

The university offers free and reduced scholarships according to the following:

1. Reduced scholarships:

  • Academic Excellence Scholarships:

They are according to the following rules:

  1. The first student gets a 100% discount on tuition fees for the following year, provided that his cumulative average is not less than three points.
  2. The second student gets a 75% discount on the tuition fees for the following year, provided that his cumulative average is not less than two points and seventy-five percent.
  3. The third student gets a 50% discount on tuition fees for the following year, provided that his cumulative average is not less than two points and seventy-five percent.
  4. Only the first student in the Faculty of Performing Arts gets a discount of 100% of the annual premium, provided that his annual average is not less than 75% of his total score.
  5. The GPA is calculated based on the first and second semesters.
  6. The student must have registered the maximum number of hours opened in each semester, provided that the number of hours is not less than 16 credit hours.
  7. The student should not be punished.
  8. If the cumulative average is equal, the number of recorded hours is seen, and in the case of equal average and the number of recorded hours, the following decimal number is taken.
  • Granting of Brothers:
  1. For the first / second brother / (sister) after the brother registered at the university, a 20% deduction for school hours fees (12 semester hours).
  2. For the third brother / (sister) registered at the university, a 25% deduction for school hours fees (12 semester hours).

2. Free scholarships:

  • Ministry of Higher Education Grants:

The university offers free scholarships (Ministry of Higher Education Scholarships) according to the text of the scholarship decree for the number of students specified by the Ministry.

  • Granting the children and relatives of the martyrs:

The university offers free scholarships to the children and families of martyrs for the regular study period, with the minimum number of years required for each major for the first university stage, after studying their social file and their total high school diplomas, according to the regulations approved by the university's Board of Trustees.

  • Granting wounded army and armed forces and their children:

The university provides free scholarships for the wounded army and the armed forces and their children for the regular study period with the minimum number of years required for each specialization for the first university stage, after studying their social file and their total degrees in secondary school, according to the regulations approved by the university’s Board of Trustees and in coordination with the programs of the Syrian Trust for Development “wounded Motherland".
