Computer Aided Industrial Drawing

This course aims to learn about the principles and basics of engineering and industrial drawing, types of lines, drawing geometric shapes, rules for writing dimensions and two-dimensional drawing, then moving to three-dimensional drawing (perspective) and how to find geometric projections and placing dimensions on them in a correct way and knowledge of finding the intersection of shapes and geometric bodies and rules Cutting, slicing, types of segments, how to draw standard parts such as screws, bolts, springs, nuts, threaded teeth, bolts, rands, staples, grooved connections, anchor pegs, pipe connections, welding connections and rivets, how to draw belts and gears, how to set tolerances, duplications, engineering specifications, and move on to the detailed drawing (Drawing and assembly), executive and assembly drawing, dimensional placement and cutting in the assembly drawing. After familiarity with these concepts, the course also aims at how to implement, draw and apply these concepts using one of the computer-aided drawing programs (CATIA V5 or Solidwrks) in terms of drawing in the two-dimensional environment sketch then move to the 3D environment and give thicknesses and t Name the holes, ducts, and spirals, draw pulleys, perform repetitions using Pattern, and then move to the assembly environment, how to find drafts and sections, and set dimensions and geometric descriptions.
