The Multimedia Systems course aims to identify the different types of media used in the field of informatics, methods of generating, representing, modifying, storing, sharing, transferring, compressing and managing them, in addition to their applications and areas of use and their integration with the Internet, whether through traditional networks or wireless sensor networks. It also includes the study of various media compression standards (audio, image and video) and the study of multimedia transmission protocols over local networks and the Internet.
