Networks Fundamentals

Networks Fundamentals course aims to clarify the basics of networks in theory, and in practice, starting from their concepts, types, components, method of connecting and linking them, operating systems for networks and troubleshooting, as well as methods of network installation, and the way wires work, to practical network implementation.

This course deals with the study of computer networks, including the OSI reference model and services, and its architecture. The study includes the seven layers of the OSI reference model (physical layer, data connection layer, network layer, transport layer, session layer, representation layer, application or software layer), IP addressing and its classes, the concept of data segmentation, local networking techniques, local area network architecture and standards. Networks and local systems as well as connecting devices.
