Based on their vision on enhancing reading books and encouraging book readers, supporting community participation in cultural activities, and under the auspices of Professor Safwan Al-Assaf, President of Manara University, and the presence of Mr. Majd Sarim, chairman of the Cultural Centre in Latakia, Manara University organized their third Book Fair in the library of the university. Represented by the General Organization of Syrian Book,  the Ministry of Culture participated in the Book Fair ,along with AlHiwar Publications, Manar Book Centre and Majd Book shop.
