Manara University organized an academic lecture on “The Cleanest Production Technologies in the light of Cradle-to-Cradle Philosophy"”

As part of the academic activities of the Faculty of Business Administration, Manara University organized and carried out an academic lecture on “The Cleanest Production Technologies in the light of Cradle-to-Cradle Philosophy”. The lecture was presented by Professor Rizan Nassour and aimed at illuminating the cleanest production strategies and their role in protecting both the environment and the consumer, and focusing attention on the modern concept of Cradle-to-Cradle. These strategies eliminated the role of recycling, which is perceived to be extremely harmful and yields low-quality products, and replaced it with the concept of reproduction.

Depending on clean technologies, the preservation of primary resources, and the effort paid to eliminate rejects and harmful waste that may affect the consumer, this cradle-to-cradle philosophy concentrates on the essence of the product from the very initial stage, so that it can be dismantled and reproduced.
The ideas and rationale of the lecture were solidified by referring to the success made by some international brands adopting this strategy in the process of production. The lecture also stressed the importance of replacing line production by cyclic production strategies.
