This course is made up of two parts. The first one focuses on insurance and it covers the principles of insurance, insurance contracts, organization and regulation; it also addresses the different types of insurance. The second part covers methods and types of reinsurance, functions of reinsurance, proportional and non-proportional treaty agreements, reinsurance programs, the price of reinsurance and reinsurance relationships.
