The course covers a huge period starting with the early beginnings of modern theatre through to latest advances in contemporary theatre.
It includes reference to most celebrated dramatists like Ibsen, O’Neil, Strindberg, Chekhov, Beckett, Brecht, and others.
Sample texts are studied and analysed. The focus here is at recognizing the theory of modern stage, and examining different dramatic schools,
techniques and approaches to theatre.
