Pathology and Pharmacology Basics


The course includes basic concepts in genetics, definitions, key terms and the effect of heredity on human health with a summary of genetic diseases and their causes and general information on pathology, pathological changes, its causes and manifestations at the level of functional and neurological organs, especially the nervous and motor system, symptoms and signs resulting from diseases. The course also provides basic information on pharmacology, such as methods of drug use and absorption, drug representation, drug effectiveness, therapeutic benefits, side effects, drug interactions and precautions. The course provides a brief of the most important drugs used on the body's systems. It also teaches the stages of life-saving supportive procedures for patients at risk of impending death until the arrival of the paramedics from the procedures of detection of ventilation and pumping of the heart, circulation, breathing and the initial procedures for rescue.
