a workshop for the students of Architecture entitled “Revival of Traditional Crafts in Modern Furniture Design”

As per the partnership in Erasmus+ program /Hands Project/, Manara University held a four-day workshop for the students of Architecture. The workshop was entitled “Revival of Traditional Crafts in Modern Furniture Design” in collaboration with Eng. Alwaleed Ish (Ish Gallery) and Eng. Naser Naser office. The students were introduced to the craft of ornamentation using shells and integrating traditional and contemporary crafts in furniture design. During the final day, participants displayed their work and received the certificates of participation with the attendance of MU partners via Zoom. It is worth mentioning that this workshop is part of Erasmus+ days that took place within mid-October and further workshops will follow in diverse themes.
