As part of the academic activities of the Faculty of Dentistry, Manara University organized a scientific public lecture delivered by Dr. Abeer Al-Jojo, Head of the Department of Oral Diseases at Damascus University, under the title "Dangers of the Measures of Injecting Fillers and Botox ". The speaker discussed the role of the dentist in performing cosmetic surgery as per the recommendation of FDA. She also spoke of the complications resulting from Fillers and Botox, ranging from edema and other light complications to tissue death and other serious complications. The speaker stressed on the methods of avoiding such errors and ways of treatment. The lecture was concluded with a Q&A session in which the speaker answered many of the questions raised by the attendees.
