In the light of Manara University 's role in enhancing reading and perusal, and supporting community participation in educational activities, Manara University inaugurated the Fourth Book Fair in collaboration with a number of Book stores,  publishers, the Ministry of Education, represented by the General Organisation of Books, and A-Hiwar Publications House. The fair was opened under the patronage of Professor Safwan Al-Assaf, President of Manara University , and attended by the faculty members,  administrative staff and students of Manara University.
