Manara University had the annual students meeting for the fresher students of the Faculty of Engineering in the university auditorium. The meeting was attended by the dean and heads of departments. The meeting started with a welcoming note from Dr. Alladin Husamudin, in which he conveyed to the students greetings from Professor Safwan Al Assaf, the President of Manara University. After that, Dr. Nael Dawood, head of the departments of Informatics and Robotics and Smart Systems talked about some items of article 21 which regulates the examination and evaluation systems of private universities and concerned with credit hour system, students' GPA and the status of students according to their GPAs. This was followed by a talk delivered by Dr. Ramiz Qudsieh, Head of the department of Mechatronics, on testing and examination systems in accordance with credit hours system. The dean of the faculty infomed the students about exam rules and advised them to abide with the rules and regulations during exams in order to avoid disciplinary measures. This was followed by a Q&A session, After which the Dean gave a concluding remark, encouraging the students and wishing them distinction and excellence during their study at Manara University.
