As part of the activities of the Engineering Faculty, Department of Mechatronics, Manara University conducted a field trip to Joud Company- Cola Factory, in which the students of industrial automation and electric machines courses were introduced to the production lines, the equipment utilized in the automation process, and the production processes in the factory. The students were also introduced to the electrical control panels and PLCs that operate and regulate the existing production lines, along with the sensors and connections of each of these machines and the engines used to run the production lines. The students were also introduced to the various phases of cola production and those of manufacturing bottles, in addition to the mechanical transportation of these bottles, till the packaging phase. The engineering team addressed and answered all the queries of the students throughout the visit.
