The fifth workshop was entitled “Revival of traditional ornaments in architecture and urban elements”. The main focus of the workshop was students vision on how to revive and implement Islamic ornaments and calligraphy in modern designs, then turn these ideas into tangible models. Students learned profoundly how to use modern materials and technology (CNC & LASER Cutter machine) during the process of maquettes creation.
