As part of the academic activities of the Faculty of Architecture, Manara University organized a public lecture presented by the President of the University, Professor Safwan Al-Assaf, on "Responses to Climate Change in Architectural Design and Planning" (Integration Style). The lecture tackled ideas and insights about the effect of climate change in general and the effect of weather temperature in particular on architecture, a comparison between traditional and modern houses and buildings and the effect of street temperature, wind direction and construction materials on the temperature of those buildings.
