Clinical Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy

This course introduces the College of Pharmacy student to the ideal use of the pharmaceutical knowledge and biomedical health of the pharmacist in order to improve the standards of effectiveness, safety, and cost, and thus the effective and safe application of the treatment plan for a group of common disease conditions, taking into account the special cases: children, the elderly, pregnant women, and focusing on the concept of Therapeutic improvement of the treatment plan by preparing the pharmacist towards a new pharmacy practice directed towards analyzing the patient’s drug history, validating treatment plans, avoiding drug interactions and minimizing and managing adverse reactions, knowing the most important contraindications, advice that can be provided to the patient and educating the patient using modern communication methods and adapting Appropriate communication language.
