The pharmacochemistry course provides information on chemical investigation methods from extraction, detection and titration of natural chemical compounds. Through it, the student learns about groups of biologically active natural compounds such as terpenes, essential oils, cardiac glycosides, cyanogenic glycosinolates, alkaloids, and anti-cancer agents. Where its biosynthetic methods, physicochemical properties and biological efficacy are studied.
