Content: the continuous mean hypothesis, the concept of volumetric mass and the principle of conservation of mass. Deformations and their tensor mathematical nature, special deformation cases, deformation components in different coordinate systems. Stresses and their tensor mathematical nature, special stress states, stress components in different coordinate systems. The principles of energy and thermodynamics and their impact on the laws of behavior in continuous circles. Basic applications in the theory of linear elasticity. Fundamental applications in fluid mechanics.
