This course covers methods of heat transfer so that the student learns to calculate the rate of heat transfer by conduction and convection through walls, fins, and cylinders. This course also covers the basics of material resistance by studying the crystal structure of solid bodies, learning how to draw vectors and crystal planes, and studying the types of bonds between atoms.
