 Topics include hierarchical modular design of digital systems, design modeling with a hardware description language (like VHDL), functional and timing simulation of digital systems, implementation in programmable logic devices (PLD), and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA), the development of designs and models of digital systems using FPGA in lab sessions.
