A scientific lecture on "Marketing Illuminations in the World of Business"

As part of the academic activities of the Faculty of Business Administration, Manara University held a scientific lecture delivered by Dr. Rizan Nassour on "Marketing Illuminations in the World of Business". The lecture dealt with the importance of marketing and its evolution through history, and threw light on the significance of focusing on marketing research and the role it plays in identifying the consumers' needs and interests through analyzing Maslow's Theory of Motivations and Needs of Consumer Behaviour. The lecturer also referred to the importance of the concept of customers' satisfaction. A number of the students of the Department of Marketing and E-commerce participated in the lecture through presenting a few cases related to the international companies that failed at the level of marketing, such as Nokia-which was presented by Ghaya Hanna. Mohammed Shahroor, in his turn, referred to the errors committed by Coca Cola at the marketing level as well. Ahmad Homsi presented the concept of "Black Friday" as an essential technique in promoting sales. The concept of " Gorilla Marketing" and how to use it was presented by Widad Libdeh. Finally, the lecture was concluded by a presentation by Ali Suleiman on " Contrast Marketing" and its role in increasing sales.
