Under the patronage of the Faculty of Engineering, Manara University, Hamam khaddour and Saleh Rabe'e presented a lecture on the International Collegiate Programming Contest ICPC.  The lecture included a general overview about the history,  rules and regulations of the tournament and sample problems to explain how programming problems are presented and handled in the tournament. The students were introduced to the advantages and benefits that could be obtained from participating in the the tournament. The lecture was concluded by a word on the materials and references that help the students prepare for the tournament and a Q&A session.
