In implementation of the agreement signed between Manara University and The Syrian Red Crescent, and the commitment and belief of the two parties in the importance of training and empowering students who are capable of providing services that help integrating people of disabilities in their environment, a four-day capacity building support course for the first-year students of the department of occupational therapy was held in Manara University. The course included an explanation of the concept of disability, integration, and teaching how to use movement aids, such as wheelchairs, walkers and cruches.
