In collaboration with Manara University, The Syrian Astronomical Association in Lattakia organized a scientific event concurrent with a partial eclipse of the moon. The event included a lecture on “Eclipse: Between Myth and Science”. The lecture was presented by Dr. Mohammad Moula, Chairman of the Association in Lattakia and the Academic supervisor of Manara Astronomical Club. The lecture was followed by astronomical observation of the eclipse of the moon in addition to Jupiter and Saturn using the associations’ telescopes. Members of the Manara Club attended and participated in the event.
