Regulations of penalties in tests and final examinations:
Art /1/ - Verbal warning occurs in the following cases:
Upon disorders and not following the examination regulations.
If the student does not write in a blue pen in the first semester of the first year; otherwise, it is a distinctive cheating mark.
Art /2/ - Registered warning occurs in the following cases:
Upon disorders in the examination hall and after receiving a couple of notices.
Upon the refusal of the student to commit to examination regulations and was reluctant to the examination committee in the hall (hall supervisor, co-supervisor, observers).
If a student sits for the exam in a non-designated hall without the approval of the directorate of examinations.
If a student writes a different name of the course they are being examined in.
If a student was caught with a mobile phone even when there are no relevant information to the exam.
If students were moved from their seats and were caught with writings on the new assigned seats or nearby wall.
Art /3/ - A student get zero grade in the test in the following cases:
If a student refuses to commit to the examination regulations and physically resisted any of the supervisors in the hall after warnings and notices and the student is asked to leave the hall accordingly.
If the student was caught with a paper clip relevant to the exam even if it was not useful.
If a student cheated with another student.
If a student writes on the desk, nearby wall or their body, even if the writing was not useful.
If there was a matching between the answers of two students (literally or mistakenly in answers) and that is for both students.
If the grading committee or the teacher of the course find a cheating distinctive mark from other sources of the given scientific material.
If the examination paper was found to have a cheating distinctive mark such as:
If students wrote their names in a different place than the given one.
If students wrote their test or seminar marks on the exam paper.
If students wrote any note for the teacher of the course.
Art /4/ - A student gets zero grade in the course without a refund of any amount of money paid to the university according to its regulations in the following cases:
If a student threatens, swears, offends or verbally abuses any member of the examination committee.
If a student is caught with a cellphone that contains information relevant to the course whether the information were useful or not.
If a student is caught with a note relevant to the course and was useful.
If a student writes on the desk, wall or their body in the examination hall and the information were useful.
Art /5/ - A student is prohibited from one examination cycle without a refund of any amount of money paid to the university according to its regulations in the following cases:
If a student hides or damages the examination paper on purpose without handing it before leaving the hall.
If a student is caught with a cheating method and was proved to have gotten rid of it to damage the physical proof.
If a student is caught with wired or wireless earphones, a mobile device with earphones or any other electronic devices that assist in cheating in exams.
Art /6/ - A student is expelled from the university without a refund of any amount of money paid to the university according to its regulations in the following cases:
In the case of impersonation to take the exam for another student or asked someone else to take the exam instead.
In the case of proven fraud or participation in any forgery of an official document.
If a student physically attacks any of the examination committee.
Art /7/ - In the case of frequent cheating in midterm exams, the punishment increases to the next level each time.
Finals:
Art /1/ - Registered warning occurs in the following cases:
In the case of two consecutive notices and the examination paper is taken accordingly.
In the case of not using a blue pen.
Art /2/ - A student gets zero grade in the course without a refund of any amount of money paid to the university according to its regulations in the following cases:
In the case of disorders in the examination hall.
In the case of resisting the examination committee.
If there was a writing on the wall or desk and the student participated in the writing even without previously knowing anything about it.
If there was a matching between the answers of two students (mistakenly in answers) according to the decision of the course’s instructor and that is for both students.
If there was writing on the desk or wall and the student was not a part of it even without knowing anything about it.
If a student is caught with a cellphone with no information relevant to the course and the mobile phone was not reported before the exam.
If a student sits for the exam in a non-designated hall without the approval of the examination committee.
If the examination paper was found to have a cheating distinctive mark such as:
If students wrote their names in a different place than the designated one.
If students wrote their test or seminar marks on the exam paper.
If students wrote any note for the teacher of the course.
Any distinctive mark not relevant to the exam.
A distinctive mark that is discovered by the grading committee and not the teacher of the course.
Art /3/ - A student is prohibited from one examination cycle without a refund of any amount of money paid to the university according to its regulations in the following cases:
If a student is caught with a mobile phone ready for use with information relevant to the course.
If a student cheated with another student.
If a student threatens, swears, offends or verbally abuses any member of the examination committee.
If a student hides the examination paper on purpose without handing it before leaving the hall.
If a student writes on the desk, nearby wall or their body.
If a student is caught with a cheating method and was proved to have gotten rid of it to damage the physical proof.
Art /4/ - A student is prohibited from two examination cycles without a refund of any amount of money paid to the university according to its regulations if wired or wireless earphones, mobile device with earphones or any other electronic methods for cheating were caught.
Art /5/- A student is expelled from the faculty without a refund of any amount of money paid to the university according to its regulations if wired or wireless earphones, mobile device with earphones or any other electronic methods for cheating were caught in collaboration with people outside the examination hall.
Art /6/- A student is expelled from the university without a refund of any amount of money paid to the university according to its regulations in the following cases:
In the case of impersonation to take the exam for another student or asked someone else to take the exam instead.
In the case of proven fraud or participation in any forgery of an official document.
Physical abuse of any of the examination committee.
Art /7/ - In the case of frequent cheating in midterm exams or finals for the second time, the punishment is redoubled.
